Due to the current COVID-19 crisis and to help people who can’t or don’t want to venture out to stores or can’t find what they need, TailgateJoe has leveraged his relationship with famed #1 butcher not only in NY but in the world, Pat LaFrieda, to offer the finest USDA Prime grade beef and other top quality meat. Lafrieda is world renowned as the butcher to the food world stars, serving the best resultants in NYC, and other cities across the country. A quick google will tell you of his legendary burger blends used in the best burgers in NYC, and his incredible dry aging room where the top chefs pull their steaks from.

I have come up with the basic items most people will be interested in, and Pat sharpened his crayon extra sharp to help me bring these provisions to you at reasonable prices. Keep in mind, this is all top quality USDA Prime grade beef and other meat, not a grade that is usually available in most supermarkets even at normal times.

Everything is hand trimmed, portioned, and vacuum sealed at Lafrieda the evening before delivery. Nothing is frozen!

HOW Delivery Works

When:

  • Orders will be delivered 2 days a week, Mondays and Thursdays
  • Orders must be in by 9pm Sunday for Monday delivery
  • Orders must be in by 9pm Wednesday for Thursday delivery
  • For orders over $500 or special circumstances, other delivery days are possible if required. Email Joe@tailgatejoe.com

Where:

  • Staten Island, Brooklyn: Monday, North New Jersey, South New Jersey( to Red Bank area)
  • For other areas such as Manhattan, Long Island, or Connecticut send an email to Joe@tailgatejoe.com

How:

  • As I begin to make my way to you for delivery I will text/call to inform customers that I am beginning my deliveries for the day.
  • As I arrive to the customer’s home, I will text/call again to inform that I will arrive shortly. The customer should make their way to a nearby window or door but NOT attempt to meet me face to face.
  • I will drop the order on the porch or agreed outdoor spot, and text/call as I leave if I do not get visual confirm of the customer via window.
  • At all times I will be wearing gloves and observing all food safety protocols. I possess a NYC Food Handlers Permit.
