Wow, this was by far the coldest game ever. It was in the teens and with the windchill it was negative below out there for this final game of the season, a Sunday night national game with huge implications for the team, “win and we’re in!” This game called for everything we had, so that meant a Uhaul trailer full of all our gear. It was so cold out there that beer was literally turning to slush in people’s cups! Let me tell you, it is 3 times as hard cooking for a group in that kind of weather, which in addition to the bitter cold there were 35+ mph winds. But irregardless of the weather, it was a great night and an unbelievable night, with a Jets win to send them into the playoffs and to send off the Meadowlands with one final green and white confetti blast!
